Summer Reading Info

Dear PCA Middle School Students and Parents,

 

We hope that your summer is off to a great start!  You may have heard the news that we have instituted a new summer reading requirement for all PCA Middle School students, so they maintain their reading skills over the summer.  Our request is that you simply read one work from the list on www.bookadventure.com.  To choose your book, go to the bookadventure website and click on the following: (8th graders-do not select The Giver).

Students will not be able to read material that is below their grade level; however, they may read books that are more challenging which you can enter in the second request box.  A response worksheet over the book your student chooses will be completed the first week of school and count as a quiz grade.
